My February Reading

Last month, I posted my top reads from 2016.  I had such great feedback that I thought I’d share some more.  Maybe you all love to read as much as I do.  And maybe you are like me and love to hear what others are reading.

And hopefully this will keep me a little more accountable to actually do all the reading that I want to!

So here it is, the three books that I hope to pour through this month.

1. and the Shofar Blew

I’ve been off the fiction bandwagons since we moved a year and a half ago.  I am determined to do a little reading just for myself.  But honestly, Francine Rivers teaches me as much about life in her books as some scholarly books do.  This one is just for me.  And a cup of creamer…ummm, I mean coffee…with creamer {lots of creamer!}.

2. Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands

This book comes highly recommended by my Momma.  So, this one is for her!  And I’m excited to dive into this one.  With our move and journey to a simpler life, I crave the work that God has for me to do.  I am looking forward to this being a step along in santification.

3. Desperate

Friends have recommended this book to me for a while now.  And even though I am no longer in the stage of littles in my home, I look forward to the wisdom I can glean.  Looking back, I can see how exhausting life was in the baby, toddler, and preschool years.  I am hoping this book will give me more appreciation for my current stage in life.  And can you really go wrong with Sally Clarkson?

So, what do you think?  Is February looking pretty good?

I would LOVE to get book recommendations from you!  Please, tell me what I should add to my list for next month!
